The seagull is quite the character in the North of Norway. It has a lot of personality and goofiness. Locals usually don’t like the seagulls because they are opportunists all things food and not afraid of people. However, the seagull is a part of life in the North. This sassy, loud bird who very much has a god complex inspired this animation short.

Orbit
Orbit (or Varv as it’s titled in Swedish) is a short animation made entirely in Blender. It’s currently making it’s festival rounds. The latest news from the touring life of this film is that it received an award for Best Animation.
Orbit is a visualized poem about the mother earth and the moon. It depicts a bond between parent and child and the process of leting go without forgoing the memories.
