About Orkan Film
Process
I’m drawn to stories shaped by atmosphere, emotional tension and the complexity between people. Whether working in film development, directing, editing or collaborative creative projects, I’m interested in the moments that exist beneath the surface — silence, distance, intimacy, conflict and human contradiction.
As a director, I work closely with actors and collaborators to create an environment built on trust, instinct and openness. I enjoy exploring performance through conversation, experimentation and emotional nuance, allowing scenes to evolve organically while staying grounded in the emotional core of the story.
As an editor, I approach storytelling rhythmically and emotionally, always searching for the narrative pulse within a scene. For me, editing is not only about structure, but about feeling: what lingers, what builds tension, and what allows a story to breathe.
Across film, writing and creative collaboration, I’m interested in projects that feel human, emotionally resonant and visually intentional.
Workshops & Teaching
Alongside filmmaking and creative production, I’m also interested in creating spaces for learning, collaboration and artistic development.
I have experience leading and facilitating creative workshops focused on storytelling, filmmaking and narrative development, with an emphasis on process, experimentation and creative confidence. My approach is grounded in openness and dialogue, encouraging participants to explore ideas intuitively while developing practical tools for shaping stories and visual work.
I’m particularly interested in workshops that focus on:
screenwriting and story development
directing actors and performance work
visual storytelling and atmosphere
creative process and idea development
independent filmmaking and collaborative practice
My teaching approach is reflective, process-oriented and adaptable to different levels of experience — from emerging creatives to collaborative cultural projects and festival environments.
I’m open to workshops, talks, mentoring and creative collaborations, both in-person and remote.
